Before Work Starts, You Should Know What You’re Agreeing To
A remodeling estimate is not useful if you still don’t understand what the contractor actually included. Different companies may look at the same project and price different scopes, materials, assumptions, and levels of work. That can make two estimates difficult to compare—and leave you wondering what happens after you say yes.
Understand the project first. Define the work. Then explain what we’re pricing.
You should know what the plan includes, what it does not include, and what could reasonably affect the project before construction begins.

Tell Us What You Want to Change
Start with the problem. Tell us what’s not working, what you’d like different, and anything you already know about the project. You do not need a finished design before contacting us.

If the project appears to be a fit, we schedule a walkthrough so we can look at the existing conditions, take measurements where needed, and understand what the work actually involves.

Before construction, we put the agreed work into a clear scope so both sides understand what Iceman is being hired to complete.

We Review the Estimate
We explain what the estimate covers, the major assumptions behind it, and anything we already know could affect the project.

Changes Get Discussed Before Extra Work Gets Added
Remodeling can uncover conditions nobody could see beforehand. Homeowners also sometimes decide to change the project once work begins. When something materially changes the agreed scope or price, we explain it and get approval before additional work is performed, except where immediate action is genuinely required for safety or to prevent damage.

We Finish With a Walkthrough
When the agreed work is complete, we walk through the project with you and review the scope before closing it out.
